Abstract

The aims of this study is to create the education character with entrepreneurship through field trip and market day programs at MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar. This qualitative research uses ethnographic research design with direct data observation collection techniques, in-depth interviews and document studies using validity test of source triangulation data and data analysis using Miles Huberman's interactive analysis model. The results showed that the fieldtrip planning at MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar began; (1) program socialization, (2) environment learning source, (3) material suitability and field trip objectives. (4) Students briefing on the field trip location, (5) Students observation is making cassava chips. Field trip report in the form of entrepreneurship character education values ​​in the business of making cassava chips. Market day annauncement started by (1) program socialization, (2) market day announcement to homeroom teachers, (3) preparing equipment (4) preparing merchandise (5) buying and selling transactions and (6) applying cooperation value, perseverance, honesty. Implementation of market day programs and field trips after the end of term / mid term assessment. This market day through some process, that are moral knowledge, students assess market day activity that can increase entrepreneurial enthusiasm and as a field for entrepreneurship training; Moral feelings: students feel excited about this activity; Moral action: Students sell food, drinks, and various accessories. Field trip activities are related to entrepreneurship destination locations include cassava home industry in ditawangmangu, because it is in accordance with learning material of fourth theme of third grade MI Muhammdiyah karanganyar.
