Abstract
Abstract One external factor in student achievement is the family factor. Around 67.22% of students at Bhinneka Karya 2 Boyolali High School have both parents who work as entrepreneurs, employees, doctors and police. This causes parents to have to work from morning to night so that parents have less time to pay attention to children. Parents are expected to be able to help children's problems, but because they are tired of working, they are less able and don't even have time to help solve children's problems. The purpose of this study is to see whether there is a relationship between family social support and student achievement and to find out the level of family social support and student achievement. The subjects of this study were 119 students in grade X and XI. The measuring instrument used is the scale of family social support as an independent variable and report cards at the end of the semester for students to measure learning achievement. The analysis method used is simple linear regression with the help of SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) 15 for windows. The results of the study were tested with the correlation test using SPSS, the result is that the correlation value obtained is 0.112 with a Sig (1-tailed) value of 0.049 <0.05 so that the two variables have a significant relationship. This means that there is a positive relationship between the two variables, the higher the social support of the family, the higher the learning achievement. So the conclusion of this study is "There is a relationship between family social support and student achievement in SMA Bhinneka Karya 2 Boyolali."
