Abstract

Pressilia Yusa Pramesti/A510150018. ANALYSIS OF MATHEMATICAL LEARNING DIFFICULTY IN LOW CLASS STUDENTS IN MI MUHAMMADIYAH GONILAN KARTASURA. Research Paper. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Juli, 2019. This research was held to find out the various difficulties of learning mathematics, the factors of difficulty learning math, and the strategy that teachers will do to overcome difficulties in low-grade learners especially in mathematical maples At the MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Kartasura. The subject of this study is the IA, IIA, and IIIA classes that have difficulty learning mathematics. Data analyzed based on observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data used in this study is triangulation of source and triangulation technique. The results showed that there were several students in the low class, which was class IA, IIA, and IIIA MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Kartasura who had difficulty learning mathematics. In addition, there are several factors that are the cause of learners difficulty in learning mathematics, which are internal factors and external factors. As well as the teacher has determined the strategy to overcome the learners who have difficulty learning especially maple mathematics in low class MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan Kartasura.
