Abstract

The existence of human resources in a company plays a very important role. The business world is now required to create high employee performance for the development of the company. Companies must be able to build and improve performance in their environment. This research was conducted at BMT Dinar Barokah, Jumapolo. This study uses leadership as an independent variable, motivation as an intervening variable, and performance as a dependent variable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. as many as 42 respondents using the simple random sampling method. The analysis used includes the validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, model test, linear regression analysis and intervening. Based on the t-test conducted and the results of linear regression analysis 1 above can be seen that leadership has a positive and significant effect on motivation and on the results of linear regression analysis 2 it is known that leadership and motivation have a positive and significant effect on performance. and based on the results of the two linear regression analyzes above, an intervening test can be performed. shows that the motivation variable does not mediate between leadership and performance.
