Abstract

This study aims to describe the operationalization of E-module learning media in Accounting Subjects. The changes of the soft skill behavior of students using E-module learning media in Accounting Subjects, and supporting and inhibiting factors for using E-module learning media in the internalization of soft skills on Accounting Courses at Delanggu Muhammadiyah Vocational School. The method of this research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. The data in this study are the results of interviews and observations. The source of research data was obtained from accounting teachers and tenth grade students of accounting class. The technique of collecting data uses interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The validity of the data uses data source and method triangulation. The results of this study are three, namely (1) Operationalization of E-module learning media on accounting subjects by opening the blog address at https://widiadiliana.wordpress.com, all students have no confusion or difficulty accessing material in the E-module. The advantages of E-modules is more interesting, and can be accessed wherever and whenever, the weakness of E-module is that requires an internet network. (2) The changes of students soft skill that use E-module learning media on accounting subjects, before using E-modules only 35-50% of students can internalize soft skills. After using E-module 90% of students (a) having self-confidence, (b) Ability to communicate, (c) Having emotional intelligence, (d) The ability to think and solve problems, (e) Ability to work together in groups, (f) Ability in time management, and (g) Having leadership skills. (3) Supporting factors for the use of E-modules, namely: a) teachers and students can access the internet, students have mobile phones that support media use, availability of LCD’s in schools, b) the number of students per class is relatively small so it is more effective, c) A lot of support are given to students from principals, homeroom teacher, and subject teachers, while the inhibiting factors are incomplete infrastructure facilities in schools.
