Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the form of directive speech acts contained in the dialogue film "Dilan 1990" by Pidi Baiq, (2) directive speech function found in the dialogue "Dilan 1990" by Pidi baiq, and (3 ) the maximal match found in the speech act directive to the dialogue film "Dilan 1990" by Pidi Baiq. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, and data collection uses note-taking techniques with the referring method. The results of this study are as follows. First, the form of speech acts directed at the dialogue film “Dilan 1990” by Pidi Baiq consists of six categories, namely governing, asking, inviting, advising, criticizing, and prohibiting. Secondly, the function of speech acts directed at the dialogue film “Dilan 1990” by Pidi Baiq varies. (a) Governing has the function of governing, ordering, instructing, requiring, forcing, and inviting. (b) Asking for a function to request, expect, request and offer. (c) Inviting a function to invite and collect. (d) Giving advice there is a function of appealing and calling. (e) Criticism is a function of reprimanding, threatening, and anger. (f) Prohibiting there is a function of prohibiting, and preventing. Third, the maximal match in the speech act directive in the film dialogue Dilan 1990 there are 42 data and there are 24 data mismatches.
