Abstract
Fracture of the tibia plateau is a coomon but complex fracture and includes a variety of fracture patterns, besides potentially associated with soft tissue injuries, tibial plateau fractures occur because the media femoral condylus is pushed towards the tibia and result in damage to the soft tissue. To find out the benefits of physiotherapy management in reducing pain, increasing ROM knee, increasing muscle strenght and reducing oedema in the case post orif fracture tibial plateau using infrared modalities and Exercise Therapy. After getting therapy 4 times with result of pain assessment, stay pain from T1 : 1 to be T4 : 0, pressure pain T1 : 2 to be T4 : 1, Move pain T1 : 4 to be T4 : 2, to increase ROM of knee T1 : S : 0° - 0° - 115° to be T4 : 0° - 0° - 130°, to increase flexion and extension knee muscle strenght T1 : 4 to be T4 : 5, to reduce oedema such as condylus ring T1 : 42 cm to be T4 : 41, from condylus to distal 5 cm T1 : 44 cm to be T4 : 42,5 cm, from condylus to distal 10 cm T1 : 46 cm to be T4 : 44,5 cm, from condylus to proximal 5 cm T1 : 46 cm to be T4 : 45 cm, from condylus to proximal 10 cm T1 : 42 cm to be T4 : 41 cm. Therapy using infrared modalities can reduce pain and reduce edema in cases post orif fracture tibia plateau dextra and Exercise Therapy can improve Range Of Motion (ROM), and increase muscle strength in cases post orif fracture tibia plateau dextra.
