Nurul Siti Hariyati/A520150015. EFFORTS TO IMPROVE SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SKILLS THROUGH PICTURE SERIES METHOD IN GROUP A PAUD SAHABAT BLULUKAN, COLOMADU, KARANGANYAR 2018/2019 IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR. Essay. Faculty of teacher training and educational sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. April 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine wheter through storytelling picture series can improve the emotional social abilities in children. The solution offered in this study is the use of storytelling picture series. The data collection technique using the method of observation, interviews, documentation.This classroom action research is carried out through two cycles with four stages of implementation, namely planning, implementation, observation, and relection. The result of research on 17 children showed that the emotional social abilities of children before held an action using picture series of 42,41%, after perfomed actions by applying storytelling picture series in the first cycle increase 63,72% and the second cycle increase by 82,35%. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that through the method of storytelling drawings can improve social emotional abilities in children in group A PAUD Sahabat, Blulukan, Colomadu, Karanganyar, Academic Year 2018/2019.
