Abstract
This research was conducted to find out the forms of student delinquency in Wonogiri 2 Senior High School, to find factors that caused student delinquency in Wonogiri 2 Senior High School, and what strategies of Islamic Education teacher for reducing student delinquency at Wonogiri 2 Senior High School. This research was a qualitative research. This research was conducted using a method interview, observation and documentation. Data that has been obtained from the field was then compiled by selecting and simplifying data. Then the data was presented to draw conclusions. The results showed that the forms of delinquency of students at Wonogiri 2 Senior High School were fights, skipping lessons, inappropriate uniforms, not wearing ties, not attending ceremonies, crowded during lessons and not praying in congregation. The causes of delinquency committed by students were family factors, factors in society and factors in school. The strategy carried out by Islamic Education teachers to reduce sudent delinquency consists of verbal guidance, this guidance is done to advise and explain what is done by students in an act that includes delinquency. Coordinating with other parties, the school coordinates with the police and the ministry of religion to explain the rules and boundaries of association. And the last is the activation of religious activities such as the Dhuha prayer, prayer in congregation in the mosque, listening and memorizing the verses of the Qur’an.
