Abstract
Low blood pressure or hypotension is where a person has a pressure below 90/60 mmHg causing symptoms such as dizziness and even fainting. Disorders can affect the learning activities of female students in lectures. Providing physiotherapy intervention modalities such as weight training with light weights and walking intervals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of lifting weights and walking intervals on second semester majoring in UMS Physiotherapy. The research method used was quasi experiment, two groups approach pre and post test design. Determination of population using purposive sampling. The research subjects were 14 female students. The sample was divided into 2 groups. Group A provides weight training, while group B provides interval training. The research instrument used a Sphygmomanometer or Tensiometer. The results of the study were that there was an effect of giving weight training with (p <0.05), there was an effect of giving interval walking exercises with (p <0.05) and there was no significant difference between the effect of weight training and walking intervals with (p> 0.05).
