Abstract

Residence is one of the important aspects in life because it is one of the primary needs of humans. Today, the land needs for housing are increasingly, this is influenced by population growth which continues to increase every year, including in Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency. This is what makes the developers intensively build housing in Banguntapan District which continues to increase every year. The rise of housing development has made housing more rapidly developed. This study aims to determine housing developments and evaluate housing developments against the RDTR. The data used is in the form of data on housing development up to 2017. The sampling method uses purposive sampling method. Analysis of the results of the study using image interpretation methods and GIS analysis in the form of overlay. The results of this study indicate that the development of housing in Banguntapan District tends to be spread out and away from the center of Yogyakarta City. Housing grows in the southern region of Banguntapan District, which is directly adjacent to the city of Yogyakarta in the north. There are 101 total housing mapped and as many as 10 residential locations or around 10% of housing is not in accordance with the RDTR.
