Abstract

The aims of the study are: (1) to examine the contribution of spatial intelligence and learning environment to indirect learning outcomes through problem solving ability, (2) to examine the contribution of spatial intelligence and learning environment to problem solving ability, and (3) to examine the contribution of problem solving ability to the results learn math. This type of research is based on a quantitative approach. The research population is 143 students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. The sample of 59 students are determined by Slovin formula. The sampling techniques was using proportional random sampling. The data collection techniques with tests, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques was using path analysis with assumption test of normality, linearity, multicolinearity, heteroskedasitas, and autocorrelation. Data analysis techniques use path analysis. The results of the studyare: (1) There is a contribution spatial intelligence and learning environment simultaneously to the learning outcomes of math through problem solving ability of 30,6%. (2) There is a contribution spatial intelligence and learning environment simultaneously to problem solving ability of 17,2%. (3) There is a contribution problem solving ability to mathematics learning outcomes of 20,885%.
