Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to: (1) to study whether there is an influence of learning independence against learning creativity in the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta Accounting Education students in 2015, (2) to find out whether there is learning motivation towards learning creativity in the 2015 Muhammadiyah Surakarta Accounting Education students (3) to learn whether there are challenges to learning independence and learning motivation towards learning creativity in students of the Surakarta Muhammadiyah University Accounting Education class of 2015. The type of research used is quantitative. The population in this study were all 2015 accounting education students who obtained 251 students with a sample of 149 students taken by proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using interview methods and questionnaire methods that have been supported try with validity and reliability testing. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, t test, F test, relative contribution and effective contribution. The results of the data analysis obtained a linear line Y = 35.580 + 0.527X1 + 0.170X2. The conclusions that can be drawn from this study are: 1) there is a positive between learning independence against learning creativity. This is evident from the results of the test obtained by tcount>ttable which is 12,341> 1,976 and the significance value <0,05 which is 0,000. 2) there is a positive motivation between learning motivation towards learning creativity.This is evident from the results of the test obtained by tcount> t table that is 3.821> 1.976 and the significance value <0.05 is 0.000. 3) there is a positive motivation between learning independence and student learning motivation towards learning creativity. This is evident from the results of the F test which obtained Fcount>Ftable which is 112.712> 3.058 and the significance value <0,05 which is 0,000. 4) X1 variable gives a relative contribution of 84.6% and an effective contribution of 51.3%, X2 variable gives a relative contribution of 15.4% and an effective contribution of 9.4%. The calculation results of R2 are obtained by 0.607, which means that 60.7% of students' learning creativity by learning independence and learning motivation is accepted as 39.3% needed by other variables that are not suitable in this study.
