Abstract

This study aims at 1) Describing the morphological reduplication of words in the book Najwa Note (2016) by Najwa Shihab, 2) Implementing the morphological reduplication process of words in the Najwa Note book (2016) Najwa Shihab's work on Indonesian language learning in high school. This study uses a type of qualitative research. The data in this study are text in the form of sentences and paragraphs in the book Najwa Note (2016) by Najwa Shihab. The source of the data in this study is the Najwa Note Book (2016) by Najwa Shihab. The data collection technique in this study is the referral technique, and note it. The results of this study are the use of reduplication in Najwa Shihab's "Najwa Note" there are 3 types of reduplication, such as root reduplication, affixed reduplication and kompusitum reduplication. In the book "Note Najwa" found the number of root reduplication is 19 data, or about 63%, affixed reduplication as many as 10 data or about 33.3%, and kompusitum reduplication there is 1 data or about 3.33%. Implementation, reduplication as part of the science of morphology can be applied to Indonesian language subjects in reading, writing and speaking, with competency standards "Communicating with Indonesian at the level of Semenjana". Basic competency "Choosing the right words, words, and expressions". Indicators "Determine the choice of words (diction), the exact form of words and expressions in sentences." The learning objectives are students can 1)Determine the choice of words (diksi), the exact form of words and expressions in sentences, 2) Explain the word form, meaning words, synonyms, antonyms and expressions .
