Abstract

This study aims to improve economic learning achievement using the learning model Think Pair Share in class XI students of SMAN COLOMADU academic year 2018/2019. This type of research is classroom action research with two cycles. The subject of this research is collaboration between teachers and researchers (actors of action) and students of class XI Economy 1 at SMAN Colomadu (recipients of action), amounting to 33 students. Data collection techniques used include observation, documentation, interviews, and field notes. Data analysis techniques use critical analysis techniques and comparative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed an increase in student learning achievement by 5,67% from 77,57% in cycle 1 to 83,2% in cycle II. Based on the results of the study, that the cooperative learning model is Think Pair Share (TPS) able to improve the learning achievements of Colomadu Public High School XI grade students if done well and correctly.
