Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to speak through image media to children in group B TK Sari Indah 1 Kembangsari Boyolali Musuk Academic Year 2017/2018. This study uses classroom action research conducted in two stages, namely cycle I and cycle II, with 2x meetings. In this study there are four steps, namely action planning, action implementation, observation or data collection, and reflection. The number of children who were the subject of this study were 13 children. Data collection is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the pre-cycle stage in the percentage reached 36.85%, then carried out the first cycle and the percentage increased to 63.77%, to achieve the target of success it was carried out cycle II with results that increased to 83.65%. The results achieved exceed the targets set by the researcher. The conclusion is that through storytelling activities using picture media can improve children's speaking skills in group B at Sari Indah 1 Kembangsari, Musuk, Boyolali in 2017/2018
