Abstract

Research this a imforanalyzeer or student incomplete question story mathematics principal discussion theorem phytagoras based on category error Polya with motivation learn student.Thre motivation learn student that is motivation low, motivation medium, andmotivation high.Four step Polya that is understand problem, compileplan, implement plan, and looking back. Subject research this is six student class VIII C in SMP Negeri 1 Musukyear 2017-2018 teachings.Type research this is research descriptive qualitative. Technique data collection usedin the form oftests, question naires, and documentation.Validity of data using triangulation method.Currently technique data analysis using data reduction, display data, and data verification. Results research this showing that: (1) All subject experience error when under stand problem but the most fatal is Subject A, C, and E are wrong in all matter, this because lack of ability in manage information.(2) in side compile plan all subject not yet meet indicatoral though subject B, D, and F only wrong on question fifth, error on stage this due tolack of understanding student in make formula phytagoras.(3) ons tagedoing plan all subject domistake. Mistakes made in the form of error calculation and procedural.(4) All subject to oexperience error on stage look back.This caused becaus emistakes were made from stage before.(5) Motivation learn low obtained subject A and B because the value obtained stand upat intervals of 0 to 33. (6) Motivation learn medium obtained subject C and D because the value obtained to beat intervals of 34 to 66.
