Abstract

The presence of online application-based transportation services is very influential for people in all activities quickly and efficiently. PT. Gojek Indonesia is one of the companies in the field of online transportation services which is now growing rapidly. This service provides several services such as Go Ride and Go Car. This study aims to determine the characteristics of travel in Campus 2 UMS and online transport fare based on Ability to Pay and Willingness to Pay. The data used in this study is a questionnaire filled by 389 respondents, consisting of 377 students, 7 lecturers, and 5 employees. The components needed in the calculation of ATP and WTP are the average travel distance, average travel costs, travel frequency, allocation of online transportation costs, and the number of respondents for each category. ATP and WTP values are calculated for each category and overall average category. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that more online transport than those who do not. Respondents travel the most 1-5 times a month. The average distance of Go Ride respondents is less than 5 Km and Go Car 5-10 Km on a single trip. The ATP value of Go Ride is Rp. 2,617.00 for the student category, Rp15,740.00 for the lecturer, Rp 3,978.00 for employee, and the average for the entire category of Rp 3,017.00. The ATP Go Car value is obtained in the amount of Rp 4,164.00 for the student category, Rp 6,444.00 for the lecturer, Rp 2,857,00 for employee, and the overall category average of Rp.4,236.00. The WTP Go Ride value is Rp 1,926.00 for the student category, Rp 3,048,00 for lecturer, Rp 4,500.00 for the employee category, and for the entire category of Rp 1,953.00. The WTP Go Car value is obtained for Rp 3,191.00 for the student category, Rp 2,760.00 for the lecturer category, Rp 2,619 for employee and for the entire category of Rp 3,165.00.
