Abstract

Character education management in hizbul wathan scouting movement in SD Muhammadiyah Imam Syuhodo.Thesis.Study Program Master Education Administration. Sekolah Pascasarjana.Supervisor I Prof. Dr. Sutama, M.Pd., Supervisor II Dr. Maryadi, Ma. To achieve education goals is one of the steps that must be taken is character education for students starting with the family and strenghtened in school and communities. The type of this research is qualitative research, using descriptive method with phenomenological approach, technique of collecting data are documentation, observation and interview. The method of data analysis that researher used are 3 analysis technique such as: data reduction, presentation and conclusion. The result of this research conclude that this school has implemented character education management in hizbul wathan scouting movement. The steps consist of planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating. Based on the result of this research known that: 1. Planning character education in hizbul wathan scouting movement in school starts early coordination with the headmaster, vice principle of students affairs, coordinator hizbul wathan and teachers, 2. Organizing character education in hizbul wathan scouting movement school starts appointing a coach, appointing committee and division of tasks and athority, 3. Implementation character education in hizbul wathan scouting movement consist of goals, material, learning method, media learning used, evaluation carrid out and habituation.4. Implmentation evaluation character education inhizbul wathan scouting movement is carried out throgh 2 steps such as evaluation carried out during the implementation processs and after activities carried out indoors and outdoors
