Abstract

In essence IPA is a science that studies natural phenomena in the surrounding environment in daily life. IPA consists of 3 main elements, namely: products, scientific processes, and fertilizing attitudes. Science is not only knowledge about nature which is presented in the form of facts, concepts, principles, or laws, but at the same time a way to know the symptoms of nature and efforts to fertilize scientific attitudes. The specific objectives of this study were: 1) to describe an animation-based science learning plan at Al-IrsyadPemalang Middle School. 2) describe the implementation of science learning with animation media at Al-IrsyadPemalang Middle School. 3) describe the evaluation of science learning with animation media at Al-IrsyadPemalang Middle School. This research is included in qualitative research with ethnographic research design. The object of the research is the management of science learning with animation media at Al-Irsyad Pemalang Middle School. The data sources used in this study include: a) resource persons, b) events / activities, c) place / location, d) archived documents. The data needed in this study are qualitative data from interviews with informants, field observations and documentation studies. The results of the research obtained include: 1) management of science learning with animation media at Al-IrsyadPemalang Middle School can improve student learning outcomes. 2). Science learning with animation media can increase students' learning motivation, making it easier for students to understand the subject matter. Suggestions after this research are carried out: 1) To the teacher, the media should use animation in science learning because it makes it easier for students to understand the material. 2) To the school, all classes should use the same media, namely animation media so that their learning outcomes increase.
