Abstract

Sulis Prasetyo, A210140166, Accounting Education and Teaching Faculty Faculty of Education Program, Muhammadiyah University Surakarta.2018 Purpose of this study was to find out: 1) To find out What is the pattern of interaction between teachers and students in improving learning motivation in economic subjects in Colomadu State High School. 2) To determine the teacher's actions in increasing students' learning motivation in economic subjects in Colomadu State High School This type of research is qualitative, qualitative, with descriptive qualitative methods using ethnographic design. Data collection techniques by observation, data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data is done by triangulating the source by comparing data from various sources and technical triangulation by comparing interview data, observation, documentation. The results of the study show that: 1) The interaction pattern of teachers and students in increasing the motivation to learn economics is the support and efforts of the school through trainings for teachers and evaluation of supervision, readiness and ability of teachers in managing the interaction of learning through basic teaching skills techniques with two-way interaction patterns, 2) Teacher's actions in improving student learning motivation in economic subjects at Colomadu State High School by revitalizing student learning interests, giving intensive and directing student behavior. Conclusion, readiness and the ability of the teacher to motivate students by developing students' interest in learning intensively and directing student behavior.
