Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the availability of media and describe the strategy of providing media and describe the constraints and solutions experienced in the availability and strategy of providing media in implementing the 2013 curriculum in suburban high schools The research location is in high schools in Klaten Regency. namely Ceper N 1 High School, Karangdowo 1 High School, 1 Bayat Senior High School, 1 Wedi Senior High School and Karangnongko 1 Senior High School. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and document study. This research method is a qualitative method with phenomenological research design. The model used is interactive analysis. The results of the study: 1) Most of the completeness of the media and infrastructure / infrastructure are not yet available and most teachers already have competencies in ICT, the implementation of ICT in learning and planning of ICT development programs does not go well. 2). media such as planning, procurement, repair, maintenance, empowerment, deletion, inventory, and reporting. 3). Constraints and solutions to the availability and strategy of providing media planning aspects that are less than optimal, procurement of media that is lacking, utilization of media that has not been maximized and the spirit of shared use has not emerged, solutions provided maximize the realization of planning, increase collaboration with stakeholders such as school committees, to complementing the lack of media and pramedia, cooperation with other parties, increasing innovation and togetherness of teachers in the development of learning media, consistency of government policy alignment with peripheral schools.This study concludes that most of the periphery high schools in Klaten Regency have not been fulfilled both the availability and the supply is good and maximum, it is necessary to improve the strategy of providing media.
