Abstract
Management of limited learning in the classroom and not involving field practice outside the classroom results in boredom and limits students' views with the surrounding environment in the learning process. By utilizing the natural environment as a source of learning is one way to succeed the implementation of K13 which is currently applied in Indonesia. The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the implementation of integrated thematic learning management based alam takambang in third grade of SD Negeri Sabranglor No. 78 Surakarta. The study sample consists of Headmaster, third grade teacher, and 33 students of third grade in SD Negeri Sabranglor No. 78. As a data collection instrument, the study uses an assessment consisting of observation, interview, and document study. This study is ethnographic and qualitative research. The result of this study is 1) planning the integrated thematic learning management based alam takambang through fulfillment of learning tools 2) take in action the integrated thematic learning management based alam takambang through the fulfillment of learning media facilities and infrastructure in the natural environment according to the learning theme 3) evaluating through social and spiritual attitudes, knowledge, and skills assessment and follow up through students' routine tasks to maintain the environment and learn to measure the length of objects around children.
