Abstract

Humans use language for communication tools to meet the needs in his life. Language has rules that regulate how people speak so that the relationship between speaker and hearer can be maintained properly. Languages spoken by humans can represent the thoughts, feelings, and wants her to others in a form of social interaction. This study aimed to describe the expressive forms of politeness in the movie 2015 Jendral Soedirman and expressive act of politeness on the movie 2015 Jendral Sudirman. The data in this study in the form of words or phrases in the dialogue between characters that contain expressive act of politeness. Sources of data in this study were taken a film release in 2015. Data collection techniques in this study using reading techniques, and techniques noted. Data analysis techniques in this study using content analysis techniques. This study examines the shape and strategies contained in the film.
