Abstract
This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between knowledge about online selection of prospective civil servants with public trust about the recruitment process of prospective civil servants. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between knowledge about online selection Prospective Civil Servants with confidence in the recruitment process of prospective Civil Servants in the community. The sampling technique in this study uses Multi Stage Sampling. Data collection method in this study uses a quantitative approach by using a scale measuring instrument of online selection knowledge Candidates for Civil Servants and the scale of trust in the recruitment process for prospective Civil Servants. While the data analysis was carried out by Spearman's rho's nonparametric analysis. The results of data analysis obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.094 with a significant (p) of 0.039 (p≤0.05) which means there is a significant positive relationship between knowledge about online selection Candidates for Civil Servants with confidence in the recruitment process of prospective Civil Servants in the community. Effective contribution or influence of knowledge variables on online selection Candidates for Civil Servants on trust in the recruitment process for Prospective Civil Servants is 0.88% and the remaining 99.12% are influenced by other variables. Knowledge of online selection Prospective Civil Servants have an empirical average (EA) of 51.21 and a hypothetical average (HA) of 34 which is high. Whereas Trust in the recruitment process for Prospective Civil Servants has an empirical average (EA) of 60.86 and a hypothetical average (HA) of 55 classified as medium.
