Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between self efficacy with burnout of mental hospital nurses. Hypothesis: there is a negative relationship between self efficacy with burnout of mental hospital nurses. The method used in this study is quantitative. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The population used was 221 mental hospital nurses. Subjects in this study were mental hospital nurses amounted to 100 people. The measuring instruments used in this study are: scale of self efficacy and burnout scale. Data analysis was used with non parametric Spearman. Based on result of data analysis for hypothesis r = -0.544, sig. = 0.000 p <0.01, meaning there is a very significant negative relationship between self efficacy with burnout of mental hospital nurses. Effective contribution of self efficacy to burnout of 29.5 which means 70,5 influenced by other factors.
