Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship of authoritarian parenting, intensity of playing games online, peer group with the intention of bullying behaviors on students of SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. The subjects were students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo with a sample of 128 students. Data collection methods used method of scala, ie the scale of authoritarian parenting, scale of playing online games, scale of peer group, and scale the intention of bullying behaviors. The data obtained were then analyzed using methods of data analysis using regression. The conclusion shows there is a significant relationship between authoritarian parenting, intensity of playing online games and peer group with the intention of bullying behaviors on students of SMP Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. This means that authoritarian parenting, intensity of playing online games and peer group will affect the level the intention of bullying behaviors of students. so that authoritarian parenting, intensity of playing online games and peer group. contribute to the tendency of students bullying behavior. Effective contribution given by the intensity of playing online games is greater than the authoritarian parenting and peer group. effective contribution to the authoritarian parenting against intention of bullying behaviors can be by 4%, while the intensity of online games against intention of bullying behaviors can be as big as 14.6%, effective contribution to the peer group agains bullying intention of bullying behaviors can be by 7,5%. And effective contribution authoritarian parenting variables, intensity of online games and peer group with the intention of bullying behaviors can be by 27,3%.Based on these results the hypothesis is acceptable.
