Abstract

The purpose of this study (1) Describe the structure that builds the novel Tentang Kamu by Tere Liye. (2) Describing the moral values in the novel Tentang Kamu The work of Tere Liye is reviewed by a sociological approach to literature. (3) Describes the implementation of moral values in the novel Tentang Kamu by Tere Liye as a teaching material in high school. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data in this study are words, phrases, phrases and sentences. The primary research data source of this research dam is Tere Liye's novel Tentang Kamu. Data collection techniques, namely using library techniques and note taking techniques. Data analysis techniques use dialectic analysis techniques. The results of this study (1) the structure of the novel Tentang Kamu Tere Liye's work consists of, the theme and facts of the story. The theme of the novel Tentang Kamu by Tere Liye is the struggle for a woman's life to be strong, strong and patient in facing various trials. The main figure in this novel is Sri Ningsih. The setting is divided into place, time and social setting. The flow used is mixed. (2) moral values contained in the novel of honesty, patience, good suspicion and help. (3) novels Tentang Kamu Tere Liye's work can be implemented as teaching materials and learning in high school class XII even semester 3.9 analyzes the content of messages from one fiction book that is read. The results of this study can be used as teaching materials because they are in accordance with the criteria of literary teaching materials namely, aspects of language, aspects of psychology, and aspects of cultural background.
