Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between perception toward organization with medical student’s interest to organize. The hypothesis is that there is a positive relation between the perception of the organization with the interest of medical students to organize. Population in this research is medical student of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta year II - IV amounted to 252 people with sample 135 people. The sampling technique used in this research is incidental sampling technique and purposive sampling technique. The method used is quantitative with measurement tools such as Organizational Interest Scale and Scale of Organization Perception. Data analysis was done by product moment analysis using SPSS for 16 windows help program. Based on result of data analysis for hypothesis obtained coefficient correlation rxy value of 0.848 sig. = 0.000 (p ≤ 0.01) it means there is a very significant positive relation between the perception of the organization with the interest of medical students to organize. If the positive organizational perception of organizational interest is high, but if the organization's perception is negative then the interest of the organization is low. The effective contribution (SE) of organizational perception towards the interest of the organization is 71,9%, the rest 28,1% influenced by other factor. Variables of organizational perception have empirical mean (RE) that pertained high. While the variable of interest organization have empirical mean (RE) that pertained high.
