Abstract

This study has three objectives, (1) describe the forms of implicature speech act directive in the political discourse of the Daily Newspaper, (2) describe the implicature directive speech acts in the political discourse of the National Daily Newspaper, (3) discriminate against the strategy of using speech acts directive in political discourse of the National Daily Newspaper. (4) describes a from of relevance in learning Indonesia hing school class XII. This research is a qualitative research using Content analysis approach. The subject of this research is the political discourse contained in the National Daily Newspaper. The object of his research is implicatur act directive speech in political discourse. The data obtained from the method refer to the technique of reading and engineering record. Data were analyzed by pragmatic analysis technique. The result of this research is the form, meaning and strategy of speech implicatur in Political discourse there are 60 data. Based on the results of classification that has been done there are 6 types of speech act directive that is the type of command, ask, invite member advice, criticize, prohibit, and 2 forms implikaur namely conversational implication and conventional implicatur. The directive speech acting strategy in this research consists of direct speech acts and indirect speech acts. Based on 60 data that have been studied there are 54% data of direct speech act and 44% indirect speech act.
