Abstract

The purpose of this research is: Describe the implementation of full day school to the level of student's concentration on the subject of financial accounting at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong viewed from the aspect of curriculum, management education, infrastructure, quality of educator, and allocation of funds. This type of research is a qualitative research. Research design using cultural approach (etnography). Techniques of collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of data is done by triangulation of source and triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques by data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1) Implementation of full day school has not been able to improve the concentration of learning, (2) The full day school system applied in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Gemolong is not accompanied by the fulfillment of factors that support the success of the full day school program. (3) Unfulfilled supporting factors such as curriculum development, education management, infrastructure, human resources and funding. (4) The curriculum has not been developed yet, (5) The management of education has not been well managed, (6) The supporting facilities for the implementation of full day school have not been fulfilled, (7) The quality of the resources is still low, (8) (9) There are still many students who are not ready to be associated with the implementation of the full day school program, (10) The old school time and the less comfortable class atmosphere make the students difficult to concentrate in (11) Student's attention to the subject matter of financial accounting is still low so that he tends to be passive in receiving the subject matter.
