Abstract

Fish feed is the most important component in supporting the growth and development to nutrient need of fish. Chicken bone flour can be an alternative basic material for making of feed fish because of protein content 12%. Kiambang flour can be used as a natural mixture material that protein content of 22,40% to increase the fish feed. The purpose of this research was to know the protein content and quality of feed fish from chicken bone flour and kiambang flour. The method of this research was a complete Random Design (CRD) and two factors. The first factor was the weight of chicken bone flour (30 g, 40 g, and 50 gs) and the second factor was the weight of kiambang flour (25 g and 30 g) with 2 replications. The results showed the highest protein content of fish feed was the treatment TA1TL1( chicken bone flour 30 g and kiambang flour 25 g ) of 3,43%, while the lowest protein of fish feed was TA3TL1 ( chicken bone flour 50 g and kiambang flour 25 g ) of 2,76%.The best quality of fish feed was treatment TA1TL1( chicken bone flour 30 g and kiambang flour 25 g ) and TA3TL1 ( chicken bone flour 50 g and kiambang flour 25 g ).
