Abstract

Achievement of learning outcomes is influenced by external and internal factors. One of the internal factors is self efficacy. Self efficacy is an individual's judgment of his ability to achieve goals. Individuals who feel that having high efficacy can master a better academic task than those with low efficacy. Assessment of clinical skills at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta Nursing course is conducted by conducting an objective structured clinical assessment (OSCA) exam. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between self efficacy with OSCA evaluation results. This type of research is quantitative correlation, that is knowing the relationship of both variables. The population of this study amounted to 501 nursing students semester 2, 4 and 6. Sampling technique using stratifed 2 random sampling, which in the calculation obtained the number of samples as many as 83 students. Students of sample of semesters 2 and 4 are 32 students and 6 semester students are 19 students. sample selection is done by using lottery system based on student holding number (NIM). Research data obtained in the test by using pearson test. Pearson test results of self efficacy relationship with OSCA results showed a number of 0.030 which means significant. The higher the students' self efficacy the higher the evaluation results obtained. Each student is expected to improve the self efficacy quality to oneself so that they can easily achieve the desired achievement. Self efficacy is just one of the factors that influence learning outcomes, other researchers can continue the research by examining all the factors that may affect the OSCA evaluation results.
