Abstract
The objectives of the research, (1) examining the contribution of mathematic communication connection ability toward mathematic learning outcome indirectly through learning motivation, (2) examining the contribution of mathematical connection and communication ability toward learning motivation, (3) examining the contribution of learning motivation toward mathematic learning outcome. The research used quantitative approach. The subjects of the research were 103 class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. This study took two homogeneous classes totaling 50 students. The technique of data collection was by using mathematic ability test, questionnaire, and documentation. The technique of data analysis used path analysis. The result of the research, (1) The ability of mathematical connection and communication contributed simultaneously toward mathematic learning outcome through learning motivation of 31.4% with ( α=0,05). (2) The mathematical connection and communication ability contributed simultaneously toward learning motivation of 23% with ( α=0,05). (3) The learning motivation contributed toward mathematic learning outcome of 22,3% with ( α=0,05).
