Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) on mathematics learning result in Linear Equation System of Two Variable learning. This research is a quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental design. The research was conducted on Mts. Muhammadiyah 6 Karanganyar on VIII A and B students. The technique of collecting data is documentation. The result of variance of this research Fcount > Ftable (6,599>4,008), this research obtained that there are the different between Jigsaw and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning methods. The result of analyses show that the mean of classroom that used Jigsaw is 70,71 while classroom that used Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is 78,75. This research concluded classroom with mean high score used good learning method. However, both of Jigsaw and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) have same positive effect with learning result.
