Abstract

Background: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is still a major problem in Indonesia. The cause of maternal mortality due to coexisting diseases such as cancer, heart, and tuberculosis reached 40.8% (Kemenkes R1, 2013). AKI at Sukoharjo Public Health Center in 2015 = 4 cases, 2016 = 0, in 2017 is 4 cases. With the problem of DM = 1, TB = 1, Hepatitis = 7, Hypertension = 23. Objective: Describe the characteristics of pregnant women include age, gravida, and comorbidities in pregnant women, know the distribution of comorbidities in terms of age, and gravida at Sukoharjo . This research is descriptive research with cross sectional approach. Research sample: 155 pregnant women taken by accidental sampling ie pregnant women who check into Sukoharjo Puskesmas from February 5 to March 5, 2018. Data processing technique: Using the technique of central tendency. Conclusion: Maternal age sample 20-35 years (73.5%), less than 20 years (1.3%), and age over 35 years (25.2%). Gravidal pregnant women with ever pregnant more than 1 or multigravida mother (70,3%) and mother primigravida (29,7%). The sample of pregnant women in the absence of comorbidities (79.4%) while pregnancy with comorbidities (DM 1.9%), hypertension (5.8%), hepatitis (0.6%), tuberculosis (0.6%) , Kidney (1.3%), UTI (1.3%), asthma (4.2%), gastritis (0.6%), cyst (1.3%), diarrhea (0.6%), stomach (1.3%), and leucorrhoea (0.6%). The most common pregnancy disease in women aged 20-35 years, with multigravida.
