Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to analyze the influence of social support as an environmental factor on employee work stress at PT Indo Acidatama Tbk, (2) to analyze the influence of personality influence as individual factor on employee work stress at PT Indo Acidatama Tbk, (3) to analyze the influence of role conflict as an organizational factor on employee work stress at PT Indo Acidatama Tbk, (4) to analyze the influence of social support, personality, and role conflict on employee work stress at PT Indo Acidatama Tbk. In this study samples taken as many as 50 respondents. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling with criteria (1) middle manager, (2) employee who work more than 5 years. Analytical methods used are Multiple Linear Regression analysis, t test, F test and Coefficient of Determination (R2). In this study also tested the instrument that is Validity and Reliability test and Classic Assumption Test that is Normality Test, Multicolinearity Test and Heteroscedasticity Test. Based on t test result that Social Support variable has a negative and significant influence on Work Stress, while Personality variable and Role Conflict has a positive and significant influence on Work Stress, it is indicated each variable has value significant <0,05. Based on F test indicates that F count is 27,039 with significant value <0,05. This means that simultaneously Social Support, Personality and Role Conflict have a significant effect on Work Stress. In the model that formed the variable of Social Support, Personality and Role Conflict able to explain the variation of Work Stress variable equal to 63,8% and the rest 36,2% still influenced by other variable.
