Abstract
This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of media playing a monopoly on volcanic eruption material on the level of disaster knowledge in extracurricular disaster preparedness schools at SMP Negeri 1 Delanggu. This research is a quantitative research, pre-experimental design with the design form "One Groups Pretest-Posttest Design". The population in this study were students of SMP Negeri 1 Delanggu while the target population in this study were students who participated in extracurricular Disaster Preparedness Schools of 30 students. Data analysis techniques in this study using Paired Samples Correlation test. The average value of the pretest results of 72 increased in the posttest to 85 after using the media game monopoly which means the level of knowledge of students increased. Paired Samples Correlation test results show a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that the use of the media plays a material monopoly on volcanic eruption on extracurricular disasters.
