Abstract

This research aims to determine the comparison of learning outcomes between IPA using LKS and Non LKS on the inheritance material at SMP Negeri 3 Cepogo Satap 2017-2018 academic year. The researchwas did at SMP Negeri 3 Cepogo One Roof Class IX of the academic year 2017/2018. The sample in the researchof class IX consists of 2 classes as an experimental class and as a control class. The research technique used purposive sampling technique. The material of the research is inheritance. Implementation procedures are research observation, research implementation, and implementation of learning. The analysis technique data used non parametric test 2 independent-sample test (mann whitney) through SPSS 15.0 for Windows Evaluation Version. The results of the research is class with LKS treatment has increased value from 30.40 to 48.26. While the value on Non-LKS treatment increased from 11.08 to 32.00. From the result,class with LKS treatment has higher learning outcomes than Non LKS. Based on mann - whitney test on LKS and Non LKS treatment there is significance value 0.000 <0,025 then H0 is rejected. Based on data of result of postest which inserted into calculation of Cohen's yield value 0,930> 0,8 so that influence of treatment of high value. Based on mann - whitney test based on treatment of LKS and Non LKS there is significance value 0,099> 0,025 then H0 accepted so there is no influence using treatment of LKS and Non LKS to student attitude value. The conclusion is there is a comparison of learning outcomes of IPA using LKS and Non LKS in class IX SMP Negeri 3 Cepogo One Roof of the School Year 2017-2018. The learning outcomes of IPA using LKS are higher than those using Non LKS.
