Abstract
The utilization of health center is related to the number of annual visitors of health center. The higher the number of visitors the utilization is said to be high, fewer visitors then the utilization is low. Research objectives include: (1) Examine 2 the socio-economic characteristics of the people who come to the Plupuh district health center of Sragen regency (2) Examine the dominant factors affecting the population for the utilization of health center in sub-district Plupuh Sragen regency (3) Examine the distribution of the origin of the visitors who use health center in sub-district Plupuh Sragen regency. Research method used is survey by using questionnaire. Sampling using non probability sampling technique. Determining the quantity of respondents using quota sampling. The researcher decided to use quota sampling technique because assuming no yet know the population of health center visitor exactly. The number of research samples obtained as much as 96 respondents for 1 health center, so the of sample of 2 health center is 192 respondents. The samples was conducted in health center Plupuh I and health center Plupuh II at 08.00 – 12.00 WIB, estimated time in spreading questionnaire 15 minutes/respondent. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of the research is the visitor at Plupuh I health center are majority 45-49 years old and Plupuh II health center aged 60-64 years. The level of education of most respondents in Plupuh I health center graduate junior high school, whereas in Plupuh II health center graduates elementary school. The income of respondents in Plupuh I health center majority Rp 1.100.000 – 2.000.000 per month, and Plupuh II health center Rp 1.000.000 per month. The livelihood of most respondents is farmers. The majority of visitors of Plupuh 1 health center came from Sambirejo village and in Plupuh II health center came from Gedongan village. The main factors affecting the community come to Plupuh I health center and Plupuh II health center which is close distance because it saves cost and time. Other factors are BPJS, complete facilities, cheap, and good service.
