Abstract

This study aims to describe students' level of thinking in solving geometric problems in terms of PISA levels. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Sources of data are test results given to the respondents amounted to 25 classes VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta on the subject of geometry subjects Mathematics academic year 2016/2017. The results of this study concluded that level 1 to 3 PISA students easily reach all indicators. Level 4 PISA achieved students who scored at 41≤skor≤60 (medium) interval ie on question number 3 on the subject determining the surface area of pyramid. Level 5 PISA successfully achieved students with a score interval between 41≤skor≤60 (medium) on problem number 1 is looking for the surface area of the beam. Level 6 PISA is achieved by students with scores at intervals of 61≤skor≤80 (height) ie on problem number 1 to 4. Level 6 PISA on question number 4 ie determines the volume of a triangular prism shaped image successfully achieved by students with scores at intervals low, medium and high.
