Abstract
The purpose of research, (1) examine the contribution of interest in learning, learning facility and parental monitoring t understanding of the mathematical concepts (2) examine the contribution of interest in learning to understanding of mathematics concepts, (3) examine the contribution of learning facility to understanding of mathematical concept, (4) examine teh contribution of parental monitoring to understanding mathematical concepts. This type of research is based on a quantitative approach. The research population is 252 students of class VII SMP N 02 Banyudono. The sample of 155 students studied is determined by slovin formula. The sampling technique using proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression. The results of the study, (1) interest in learning, learning facilities and monitoring of parents contributed simultaneously to understanding the concept of mathematics ( = 5%). (2) there is a contribution of students' interest in understanding the concept of mathematics ( = 5%). (3) there is no contribution of student learning facilities to understanding mathematical concept ( = 5%). (4) there is no parental monitoring contribution to the understanding of mathematical concepts ( = 5%).
