Abstract
This study aims to describe the forms of student apathy and business teachers in addressing students apathy when following the learning of Citizenship Education in SMK PGRI Sukoharjo. The study used a qualitative approach. Data collection is done by documentation, observation and interview. Test the validity of data with triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis applies interactive models through data collection, data reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results showed students apathy lacked interest, sympathy, and indifferent of learning. The forms of student apathy in learning Civics at SMK PGRI Sukoharjo are: 1) not involved in the learning process, 2) not paying attention to the teacher while describing the subject matter, 3) not daring to ask questions to teachers, 4) not answer questions asked by teachers or of other students, 5) dare not respond to other students' answers, 6) not give conclusions at the end of the lesson, and 7) not do the tasks assigned by the teacher. Teachers have a role to deal with apathetic students in Civic learning through various means. They provide examples, always appreciate the work the students have made, to impose sanctions.
