Abstract
Employee discipline is an important aspect in achieving the company's vision. Work discipline can be proved by coming on time, not ditching, discipline and staying in the company. However, from the data obtained still there are some employees who behave indispliner, such as coming to office not on time, doing tasks not in accordance with the target and ditching during working hours. One of the factors that can affect work discipline is the transformational leadership style. Transformational leadership style is a leadership model that can increase subordinate awareness, motivate, create a clear mission vision and provide high stimulus to employees. This study aims to: 1) to determine whether there is a relationship between Transformational leadership and work discipline of the Primary Tax Service Office on the supervision and consultation sukoharjo, 2) to know the level of discipline of the employee of Primary Tax Service Sukoharjo on the supervision and consultation, 3) to know the level of perception of transformational leadership, and 4) to find out how the contribution of transformational leadership effectiveness to employee work discipline. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between transformational leadership and work discipline. The subjects of this study amounted to 40 employee part waskon tax service pratama in sukoharjo. The sampling technique uses population studies and data collection using transformational leadership scales and work discipline. Data analysis technique using Spearman Nonparametric correlation test. The results show that the proposed hypothesis is accepted that there is a positive relationship between transformational leadership and work discipline. The level of transformational leadership in supervision and consulting employees is high, while employee discipline supervision and consultation of prohama tax service in Sukoharjo is high. Effective contribution of transformational leadership to work discipline is 24.7%.
