Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that needs to be treated promptly and in a long time. One of the success factors of therapy is treatment. A person will be obedient in the treatment when he understands the purpose of it. This research is to know the description about compliance treatment of tuberculosis patients according to schedule in BBKPM Surakarta. Type of research used is. This research was conducted on 35 people with pulmonary tuberculosis patients in BBKPM Surakarta who have been therapy for at least 2 months where the sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The tool used is a questionnaire to see a picture of the success of the treatment that has been tested for validity and reliability by the researchers. Result of analysis of tuberculosis patient got the patient who have good knowledge (34,3%), enough knowledge (54,3%,), less knowledge (11,4%). Most people with tuberculosis have sufficient knowledge about tuberculosis treatment. Keywords: Center for Lung Health Surakarta Society, Knowledge, Compliance, Tuberculosis
