Abstract
This research is intended to analyze the influence of consumer motivation, consumer perceptions and consumer attitudes toward buying decisions product counterfeits on cosmetic products. The population that became the object in this study is all consumer product counterfeits in cosmetic products around the campus of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta who have ever bought or used product counterfeits on cosmetic products. The sample used is 110 consumer product counterfeits by using purposive sampling. The method of analysis used in this study is the method of multiple regression analysis. The result of research based on partial hypothesis test (t test) showed that consumer's motivation, consumer perception and consumer attitude significantly influence to purchasing decision. The result of determination coefficient test (R2) obtained R square equal to 0,603. This indicates that purchasing decision can be explained by the variable of consumer motivation, consumer perception and consumer attitudes of 60,3%, while 39,7% is explained by other factors outside of variables studied.
