Abstract
The purpose of research: 1) The planting of nationalism values in the preliminary activities in learning Civics in MTs Negeri Ngemplak Boyolali District; 2) Planting the values of nationalism in the core activities in learning Civics in MTs Negeri Ngemplak Boyolali District; 3) Planting the values of nationalism in the closing activities in learning Civics in MTs Negeri Ngemplak Boyolali District. This type of qualitative research with descriptive qualitative approach with ethnography study. Data collection techniques use documentation, interviews and observation. Data analysis is done by organizing data, breaking it into units, synthesizing, organizing into patterns, choosing what is important and learning, and making conclusions that can be shared with others. There are three stages in data analysis that is data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Result of research: 1) The cultivation of nationalism values in preliminary activities in learning Civics in MTs Negeri Ngemplak Boyolali can be carried out as expected, this can be done with apperception by preparing before starting learning with greetings and greetings and abscesses as well as doing assessment of student learning readiness and inform the competencies to be achieved; 2) The cultivation of the values of nationalism in the core activities in learning Pkn in MTs Negeri Ngemplak Boyolali can be implemented according to the RPP, that is with exploration, elaboration and confirmation. In addition, the cultivation of the values of nationalism is carried out through various strategies, among which are: the integration of character values into subjects that are conducted based on the RPP by inserting the values and materials of nationalism with the methods, media, and sources that have been designed by the teacher, in addition through programmed activities by carrying out activities among others; commemorate the national holidays, social work, extracurricular, decorate the class with the theme of nationalism; 3) Implementation of character values in closing activities in learning Civics in MTs Negeri Ngemplak Boyolali can be done by conducting an assessment or reflection on activities that have been implemented consistently and programmed and planning activities of learning plans at the next meeting and if necessary conduct assessment / test and nontes with reference to indicators of attainment of character education values, through teacher observation in the learning process. Assessment of the education of nationalism is emphasized on the successful application of values in the attitudes and behaviors of learners in accordance with the values of nationalism applied and implemented in life in the classroom and school environment.
