Abstract

Children at the age of 1 - 12 years are in desperate need of things that can trigger creativity and knowledge. Triggers for creativity can be gained by children while playing, while knowledge can be gained while learning as an example of reading a book. This type of educational toys can have a positive impact on children. Surakarta itself does not have a place / container specifically for them (children) to explore creativity and imagination. For that reason, came the idea to create Surakarta Fun Kidspace as a place for children to perform various activities such as reading, playing, socializing, and so forth. Surakarta Fun Kidspace is an educational and play facility that is able to develop children's motor and learn simple forms in buildings that are applied with modern architectural approaches today. The main activities at Surakarta Fun Kidspace are focused on children ages 1 to 12.
