Abstract

Education is a process of integrity with the improvement of human resources. The formation of character is something that can not be separated in life without exception in national education. Character as a standard or norm and value system that is implemented in various forms of self-quality. The purpose of this research is to know the strengthening of religious character and discipline in teachers at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo. This research method used qualitative method from case study. Such research can be seen through the activities made by schools in the strengthening of religious and disciplinary character. In this study proves that the strengthening of religious character can be formed through religious activities conducted together in schools, and the strengthening of the character of discipline by raising awareness, managing time well, principals who provide good examples of good example, openness to obstacles encountered, create a schedule neatly and systematically, and a sanctioned approach for non-compliance with school rules.
