Abstract

This study aims to describe, calculate the percentage, and find out the extent of the level of students' thinking skills in solving mathematical problems on the material lines and angles based on Bloom taxonomy revisions Anderson and Krathwohl in 2010. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The subjects of the study were the students of grade VIII D of SMP Negeri 2 Baki Sukoharjo, amounting to 34 students. Techniques of collecting and validating data using triangulation method that is observation, test, interview, and documentation. Using the revised cognitive dimension of Bloom's taxonomy, the results obtained in the lower order thinking skills category (C1), understanding (C2), and applying (C3) to 29.412%. While percentage in high order thinking skills category which includes analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6) only reach 2,941%. Percentage at each level of students' thinking skills as follows; thinking skills recall rate of 26.471%, understanding 45,588%, applying 16.176%, analyzing 8,824%, evaluating 0%, and creating 0% reach. Students have been able to reach the thinking level up to analyze (C4). While at the level of evaluating (C5) and creating (C6) all students can not achieve it.
